Fenton Art Glass Bridesmaid doll, Blue birds on Custard Satin, Special Order, 2011, L. A beautiful Fenton Art Glass Bridesmaid doll made by Fenton at Fenton Art Glass Co. Decorated by Fenton decorators at the Shop in 2011 before the company shut down. She is a TRUE piece of Fenton Art Glass. This is one beautiful doll.

See pics of other Fenton pieces that were made in the past that are called Blue Birds on Custard Satin. She resembles the pattern pretty well. See photo, with other Blue Birds on Custard Satin older pieces.

I was told the original pattern (Blue Birds on Custard) was designed by Louise Piper. The'card' will come with the doll in original box. It was Deb Zenner's idea for the'bird nest with eggs' for the bouquet, as well as her name "Hope" - as in hope for the future of Fenton, but that didn't happen.

It is noted "Hope" on the card. View all photos, and feel free to ask questions. Fenton Art Glass Bridesmaid doll, named "HOPE". She is designed to look like the'old' Blue Birds on Custard Satin pattern.

We are delighted to have this Special Order Doll made by Fenton Art Glass, dated 2011, and signed by the Artist at the Fenton Art Glass Company in Williamstown, W. It was my wish to have one last Bridesmaid doll by these skilled Artisans. There are only 30 of these bridesmaid dolls produced. Thanks to Fenton Art Glass, and the following for their time and skill in making this possible. Special Orders Dept: Christina Benson.

Nancy Fenton, who helped achieve the Custard on Satin'look'- by suggesting satinizing and air-brushing the custard color. My special friend, Terry Nutter for her help and support. My special friend, Deb Zenner for her design help and support.
